Description: The pilot conducted in each partner region, consists in training decision-makers of municipal institutions on EE management as important aspect of good governance. Cross-sectoral policy making is strongly linked to improved decision-making & planning competences of policy-makers, which shall include EE considerations. Three target groups take part in workshops addressing different themes (decision makers/ facility managers + staff of project partners’ organizations dealing with energy issues & projects/ dwelling's users. A set of materials incl. preparation of good practices, adapted local materials & general information supporting the workshops is being assembled.

Aim:

  • Strengthen public sphere’s responsibility by improving local decision-makers’ competence
  • Take sustainable, EE-committed measures, by more responsible policy makers
  • Sensitize public awareness on EE & RES issues
